Chantit el Rej3in is a spontaneous initiative coming from a group of friends based in Paris.

The idea was to find an easy way for everyone to contribute to the social distress occurring in Lebanon. It was initiated by Alia Atieh and Ziad Asseily with the creative help of Zeina Abirached and the logistic support of the Live Love team and digital development of Fig Jam (Ralph B. Nader) who are based in Lebanon.

Alia Atieh was born and raised in Lebanon. She was a marketing director at Unilever in London and Paris before getting involved in her local community in Neuilly-sur-Seine where she was elected as a town councillor 6 years ago, in charge of public schools. She is also a founding member of Amitiés Neuilly Liban in 2009, an association that aims at promoting Lebanese culture in Neuilly. Alia is a graduate of ESCP business school.

Ziad Asseily is the co-founder and CEO of the Liza restaurants in Paris and Beirut. Also co-founder of Hedgeguard Financial Services, a portfolio management software for traditional and crypto currency funds. Ziad studied in Beirut and Paris and is a graduate from St Joseph University and ESSEC business school. In love with Lebanon.

Zeina Abirached is a Lebanese author and illustrator. She is a graduate from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) and the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.  She has published numerous graphic novels based on her childhood memories in Beirut during the war (Catharsis, 38 rue Youssef Semaani, Mourir, Partir, Revenir, Le jeu des hirondelles). Her latest works Le Piano Oriental and Prendre Refuge (Éditions Casterman) , with Mathias Enard, have been translated in several languages and have won numerous prizes. Zeina lives and works in Paris.

Ralph B. Nader is a Lebanese entrepreneur, who started his career more than 23 years ago in advertising, working between Beirut and Dubai for multinational agencies and companies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey, JWT, Procter & Gamble, BAT, Microsoft and Nokia.

In 2012, he founded Fig Jam, a digital solutions company based in Beirut.

In 2016, Fig Jam developed Baladiyati eMunicipality platform for Lebanon, with the aim to create a digital transformation to fight corruption and connect with citizens in a smart and transparent way.

Live Love Lebanon is an independent non profit founded in Lebanon in 2012. Live Love exits to share, celebrate and help preserve the beauty of Lebanon. It launched social media accounts to shed a light on the beauty of Lebanon. that now count +1.5m cumulative followers from around the world. Live Love uses storytelling and technology to design and implement sustainable program that create positive social impact for Lebanon’s nature and for people in need, such as Live Love Volunteer, Live Love Recycle and the Live Love Tours.
